Does my kid have to stay in the stroller?

Yes, the kids do need to stay in the stroller at Stroller Strides and Stroller Barre. Does this concern you? We just ask that you come and TRY! We hear it SO often that moms are surprised at how their kid will sit in the stroller during class, but will not on a casual walk. Mama, we entertain the kids during class! Please come try. Your kid will not be the first to fuss during class. Your kid will not be the first to try and escape. Your kid will also not be the first to LOVE Stroller Strides and watching mommy work out and sing! We have kiddos ages 6 weeks - 5+ years in the stroller! Kids that are done with Kindergarden can sit along side the stroller, but cannot participate in the workout.

Remember to B R E A T H E, mama! During our classes, you will generally hear the instructor reminding you to B R E A T H E at least once during our exercises. Why? Breathing exercises can help with stress management and overall well-being. When practicing any breathing exercise, "always inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth. Keep your shoulders relaxed, and don't shrug them" (Google, 2017). Try this: fill and empty your lower lungs 8 to 10 times. Next, add the second step to your breathing: inhale first into your lower lungs as before, and then continue inhaling into your upper chest" (Google, 2017). Inhale, exhale, repeat. How do you feel?
